Making sense of credit cards
Does the bank balance really concern us a much as it used to? The answer must be in the negative. The reason is that due to credit cards, the bank balance has become a much more fluid and elastic entity. Due to credit cards we can maneuver much more within the scope of our financial budgets pivoting the crucial times around the credit companies' paydays. Meanwhile the pocket and its plastic credit cards can still live on because the next payday is at least another month away. That means we are always financially moving on to the future and not getting stuck in the here and now.
The different types of credit cards
The credit card industry is sprouting like mushrooms in a forest after the rains. Not only banks issue credit cards through the credit card companies but all kinds of shopping chains and consumer concerns issue their own types of credit cards. You really have to be careful about this proliferation of credit cards because they can really attack your pocket and bank balance. There is no such thing as a free credit card as there are never free lunches. You see each issued card will sooner or later take its toll through assorted commissions and deductions and you will soon feel the sting.
Inundating us with credit cards
We are being inundated with credit cards. Although the credit cards are supposed to be a system of payment named after the small plastic cards issued to the system's subscribers it exceeds this role by far. Credit card companies from banks to private stores are flooding us with these financial gems in order to trap us in their web. First we have to understand that a credit card is differentiated from a debit card by the fact that it does not deduct money from our accounts immediately after a purchase or some other transaction. In the instance of credit cards the company issuing the card lends us money to enjoy.
